Quite a few old boys I knew from the Island, Stepney and Poplar were Millwall supporters.

Most of them dead now.

Re: Isle of Dogs...
I live in poplar but went to George Greens on the Island.

I would say its definitely 50/50.

As someone said, the older lot are probably Millwall.

My old man is Millwall but my Grandad (like many around that time) used to go and watch West Ham, Charlton, Millwall and Orient.

I had a lucky escape as my mums side were from Canning Town!

Re: Isle of Dogs...
I spent a lot of time on the Island in my younger days before moving a nd getting married there. Back then (77/84) i'd say it was more West Ham but found the other mob had more support among the older blokes.

My 1st Mrs came off Samuda estate

Re: Isle of Dogs...
I was brought up in Millwall, which is on the Island of course. Years ago was a mix. I am sure there will still be some on the Island.

Re: Isle of Dogs...
There don’t seem to be many West Ham in Tower Hamlets these days apart from around the Bow area. Work around there for a few years. Saw a few West Ham shirts here and there but not loads

Re: Isle of Dogs...
